Manufacturing Engineering Intern – Summer 2018

Responsibilities

  • This position will assist the Manufacturing Engineer on the Exact Science program
  • Extensive manufacturing work is needed from FAT through PQ
  • Create set up and troubleshooting instructions
  • Assisting Manufacturing Engineer with engineering builds
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Safety/Environmental:
       - Where applicable, individual is pre-planning safety into work activities to improve performance
       - Proactively identifies safety concerns
       - Complies with Environmental Management System Program SOP’s/WI, Policy & Program elements and encourages responsible use of resources
  • Actively participate in continual improvement/innovation, corrective action and internal/external customer satisfaction

Qualifications - Education & Experience

  • Actively pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering or related technical discipline

Qualifications - Skills & Competencies

  • Working knowledge of injection molding and materials
  • Ability to work with all levels in the organization, as well as with customers and vendors
  • Demonstrate communication skills
  • Demonstrate knowledge of engineering project systems
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Strong team player
